Ok, first my pass. side heated seats lights flickered and went out over a period of days. Second my pass. side window controls lights dim and light normal depending on the day. Now my driver's side heated seat lights are doing the flicker dance. Is this just the LED's going out or the precursor to a more serious issue I'm bought ready to get hit with???

I don't think it is LCM related..just poor soldering at the lighted fixture..my pass.heated seat light works and then doesn't and soeting onthe driver side is out too. I haven't felt like pulling door panels off and looking into it, but I believe FBM (fastblackmerc) has dealt with and can fix or can tell you how to fix if you want to solder. I' sure he will reply, he knows the lighting very well

Not a serious issue at all. I just wish Ford treated it as such and did it correct the first time.

This article only covers the window switches but the same idea applies to the heated seat switch.

Get some quality electrical solder, do it once, and be done forever!

Flickering heated switches are common. Not LCM related.

I have not got around to soldering mine yet but I hate that the seat adjusting switches are not lighted

100% agree. That and the headlight switch and the window lock. Why they didn't light them is beyond me...
