It was 110+ degrees today which could have something to do with the problem I had today.
Drove the car for about 30 miles today in the heat (AC works great!) and even thought to myself how great this car runs. Then I dropped my kid off at home after lunch and as I was pulling out of my driveway I felt the car idling rough, real rough..in fact it started missing on more then one cylinder. Barely could move the car 10 feet as it seemed like it was running on about 3 cylinders. I slipped it into neutral and then it came around and after a few seconds and all was well. I drove it 1 mile back to my shop but when I slowed down for a red light I felt it happen again only this time it was even worse and I coasted to a stop. I had the flashers on in the fast lane and tried to restart it but it wouldn't start. Waited about 1 minute and then it started and after a few revs it ran normal again. My shop was so busy I had no time to look at it tonight but it felt like either it had way too much fuel pressure or not enough when it happened. Also the reoccurring p0190 that I have been getting from time to time for years popped on when it happened which also leads me to think it could be a fuel pressure related problem.
I check engine temp at the time and it was 224 degrees with my scan gauge but couldn't get my eyeballs on fuel pressure quick enough.
