Hi all,

My first post.

I have been lurking around here for about 2 weeks.

I have picked up a wealth of knowledge.

As such, I just parked a Marauder in my driveway.

For the locals, I picked this one up from Bright Bay LM in Bay Shore.

Thank you all

Best decision you have ever made. You are gonna love that car, especially after you add those very effective mods. Check out the Dennis Reinhart products and past threads relating to stage 1 mods!! :bounce:

Keep lurking, there are some neat and knowledgable people here with great ideas, thoughtful opinions and poor jokes :shake:

The site becomes addicting and contributes to the overall satisfaction of experiencing this beautiful and rewarding vehicle.

Ride easy.

I won't steer you wrong, the car and the site are sicknesses, good ones, but sicknesses the same. Symptoms are sore cheeks, and "smile" lines around your eyes. I'm still trying to work a deal with the IRS to claim the car as a medical deduction. Best stress reliever I've found. The car also took a good 30 years off my maturity!

Pharmpod,

Congratulations and welcome to the site!

Check out the North East Regional section on this site from time to time. We just had a New York metro area meet three days ago in East Meadow. I'm sure we'll have a meet in April somewhere in the tri-state area. So keep checking back and join us next time! Always nice to meet a new owner.

Benny - Congrats and welcome to the site. It's nice to have another New Yorker on the site. Look foward to meeting at the next event. That makes 3 DTR Marauders from Long Island that are members of this site. :D

Welcome to the site. The only problem is that after a while reading and posting here you get hooked and your on it almost everyday . I know their is a local group in long Island maybe you can hook up with. Me and Firedab got our own group going down out of Ft Lauderdale, we had or first meet last month and what a nice group showed up. We have or second meet this friday.Any how I used to live in Farmingdale L.I. and the people up their nice too. Well good luck with your Marauder and do your reading their is alot to learn.

Now if you could get a doctor to sign off on the heated seats as a necessity for back therapy...

Hi Benny, you have just begun to meet one of the greatest group of people you can imagine-you have to start planning to join us in Indianapolis in July for our "Maraudervill II" check the forums--don't miss it. I lived in Levittown from '56-77, bought a '65, '70 and '73 Mercs from Bay Shore L/M--they were a hot dealership back then--how are they now ? Love living in Texas--visit LI occasionally--last time 4 yrs ago--meet you at Indy, Maury
