I cannot find a pcm anywhere other than ford, I have seen some used ones on ebay but they are not the same number as mine that I need, i didnt know if it was a big deal or if i could use any computer from a marauder I have an 03 300a
the numbers on the ECU are 3w3a-12a650-cb and the other one is 6cwp198a03-AA and there is a MPC-198 on there and a CRD1 cardone has one but its a MPC-188?????? what to do what to do

You don't go by part number, just the catch code. (CRD1 in your case)I may be wrong, but it was my thinking that any 03 would work if you had an 03?? Same goes for 04's.

well I am in desperate need of one for my car, and i wish i knew i could find one and get this thing running again, its been down for 6 months.. i didnt know if i had to have one with the same EXACT numbers or not

To be on the safe side get the EXACT one.

i would but the only one who has one right now is ford, and its 680$ plus another 100$ to flash it then I have to take it to pauls automotive to have it tuned.... it sucks

To be on the safe side get the EXACT one.

Especially if you have mods. Saves the hassle on having to get a retune.
Had to replace mine a few years back and the one for the car was not available from Ford and no time to track one down. (Inspection end of the month).
Had to go with the revision one from Ford. Passed inspection, but had to get a revised tune to make the car run right for dd. No one had a tune for the new code and it was a hassle emailing back and forth for tweaks.

Sealed the decision to get PRP so I could do it myself.
