My fan shroud is dated, #4, 10.2.2.... Check this photo out. Anyone have any data on this?

I've seen shops leave marks like that to denote dates of radiator and trans flushes. I've also seen marks like that on parts that came out of scrap yards.

Junk yards sometimes date parts as they are brought in too......could simply be a replacement!!:confused:

All good ideas... Only had 11,000 miles when I got it...

Don't think there was any front damage. Car is nearly flawless... Even to the Hater!

Would a 2003 car need a flush/receive a flush on 10.2.2?

I got my cert out...and dated shroud is 2 weeks after my cert...( this was really smart-- sorry I didn't think of it)

Car was born on 9/18/2 so only 2 weeks after...

I am stumped!

A lot of dealerships have the techs write the date and tech number under the hood during the PDI process, could be that as well.
