No way. Add maybe $2,000 onto that.
Have you done any other mods to your car?

I would maybe change mufflers, or go to a resonator delete type tip.
I have LT's, high flow cats, failmaster mufflers and res delete tips. At WOT, it is quite loud, but I imagine it would depend on what your ultimate goal is for the sound.

For that amount of funds, you could get the rear cats deleted and muffler change. If you could find a used set of res-delete tips then you'd be set for a while.

+1, you can also pull your tips off and remove the resonators to save a little more. Just would need to cut em off remove the resonator and weld em back on.

^^^^^ Still wondering what he's after.
If it's just noise, lotsa stuff can make the car louder on the cheap (heck, run a sratight pipe from the front set of cats to the tailpipe, that'll get it LOUD ;)), but if he's looking for performance, the exhaust isn't the place to start, IMO.
Better off investing in a tuner and a set of gears.

a lot of guys upgrade and basically give away their old exhaust. post it up and keep an eye on your local craigslist ads and junk yards.
if your looking for aftermarket at that price well good luck on that hunt....

Change the mufflers for a more flow and better sound, obviously this is not the "ultimate" exhaust upgrade but will satisfy the need for sound and a bit more throttle response.

If you're broke as can be ever consider saving the $500 for repairs if ever needed?

if you don't have it already a performance chip or a CAI would be best bang for your buck

^^^^^ +1
The OP never responded to my question about his other (if any) mods, but yeah, if I had $500 to spend, I'd do a tune way before I'd do any work to the exhaust.

Take that $500, invest it til its worth $4500, then do an Eaton swap!
But seriously, you could get yourself some aftermarket mufflers and have them installed for under $500. Its not gonna gain you much performance but will make the sound better.
If its performance you're after, start saving! $500 doesn't go very far when modding this car.
