Every month I have been trying to do one "project" at a time to keep my expenses in order while I bring my '04 Marauder back to all it's greatness!

This month, I have decided to tackle the Key and Key Fob issue (which is really not having any keyless entry right now). Also, I have only 1 Key.
No key fobs, no valet key and no second key. I have heard that I need to buy 2 NEW keys and have them programmed at the same time. Then, do the key fobs. Does this sound right?

Actually, you can buy one additional key and have it programmed. The third can be done when the first two keys are active.

Check with Delray Lincoln. They might have the valet key. I was able to get one for a member here awhile back.

Someone told me that I needed to have two keys keyed and programmed at the same time. They also told me that the current key I have may not work again.

News to me. The dealer that programs the 2nd key can also delete any other previous keys in the system.

Thanks! I'll go with that. How much should I expect to pay to have these keys programmed? Also, shouldn't there be a way to find out what the door code is? The sticker with the code is not in or around the trunk like they used to be.

The dealer that I used to work for sold the job for .8 . I do not know the labor charge. As for the door code, it can be retrieved when the keys are getting programmed.

Cool. I am going to try to get it all done at once. I will let you know how it shakes out!;)
