I looked couldn't find the answer. Looking to customize the front grill with another floating "M" similiar to what I'm currently working on for the trunk. Want it to match. As a test bed and mule, what other grills will work since I'm not going to mod the OEM grill?? Will the CV and or GMQ grill work. Will paint ofcourse.

NOt really concerned about the teeth or anything. Just want the whole grill to interchange.

CV grill is a slightly different shape I believe.

WHat about the GMQ's. I really don't want to mod/destroy a 'rauder grill.

The CV grille is different, uses a different header panel, lights..I would imagine a GM grille from 2003-2005 is the same, except it will be chrome..2006 is when i think they chenegd the front slightly on GM

Get a MM grill from Certifit. They're cheap, $63

I check in the Pull-a-Part this weekend for this. It should be real cheap so may get a couple if possible.

Would rather get a cheaper one from the yard and spend the money on modding. But, thanks for the link. I'll keep it for when I need a replacement stack grill.

No, but what I'm hoping is to get one for about $10-15 and give it a try. Sometimes the yard can be very cheap. Even if it doesn't at least I will have a cheap test subject to try it out on. Then go and get the "real" deal and mod that with the knowledge of the other one.

Good plan. "If you're not testing it on test pieces, you're testing it on your project" ;)
