Anybody know what this noise is??

This is killing me:mad2:, when I turn on the a/c after the car sits overnight I get this awful grind, kinda like something is trying to open and is scraping, the air blows cold but I'm not liking this noise, during the day when the air gets used it on occasion will make the sound but nothing like it is after the car sits overnight, any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys :beer:

Sounds like your blend door actuator. A fairly common issue with our cars. There have been threads on how to fix it but I'm sure someone will post a link soon.

Is the noise from under the hood or from inside the cabin?

Hey RF how's it crackin? It's coming from behind the glove box, definitely on the inside of the firewall

Definitely not the suspension air compressor, I hear that, that's under the hood on the driver's side, this sounds like something behind the glove box and in the cabin, I'm going to start by dropping the glove box and go from there, and yes it sounds like a big fart, if I figure it out I'll post it, thanks guys

Probably the blend door. Might be a Sticky about it.

Sounds like the blend door actuator.

If the noise is coming from behind the glovie, it's the blend door actuator.
