I'm in need of rotors, i contacted KNS and was told that DBA no longer makes our rotors.
However i was told by the KNS rep there is another competitive company that can have them done. The deal is i would have to send them one of my rotors and there is a 4 week turn around time.
Has anyone gone a different way when in need of rotors for the BAER kit?

I think I bought the last set from KNS last year, sorry about that, I would still be interested to find out about this other company. I already have 40k on them.

I got an email from Baer and they no longer use the manufactuer whos rotors were prone to cracking/warpage, i may give them a try if i still have my Baer set up, i also would check with Todd from TCE to see if he can match up a Baer rotor.

awesome, how much did they run? Also, did it seem like something he could do regularly or was it just a one off thing?

He can get them done as long as you provide one of your old rotors. Fast service too, compared to DBA.
It was somewhere around $250 per.

Yeah, big brakes are more expensive all around. But they work so much better, and *should* need rotor replacement/machining less often.

Not to state the obvious, but I have found using a torque wrench on the wheel studs is critical. I used to tighten them by hand (never let the impact wrench tighten them), thinking my calibrated arm was adequate. Apparently I was wrong . . . :(
