Just got back from doing 4 dyno pulls. I will scan and post them soon.
With no chip 249.5 hp and 278.6 Tq

With Reinhart chip 264.7 hp and 296.2Tq

15.2 extra HP and 17.6 extra Tq

I was going to order the Steeda timing adjuster but I wonder if its needed since the chip is already advancing the timing.

Your timing and fuel curves are in the chip. Your numbers seem a wee bit low. You running 93 octane or?

I use only 94 (Sunoco Ultra). I didn't think it was low, actually I thought it was dead on.
302 advertised flywheel HP minus 20% drivetrain loss should net 241.6 HP. I had 249HP.
With the chip my flywheel HP is 330HP. Not to shabby.

I thought it was 10% drivetrain loss?

Did you install the plugs and stat yet?

I REALLY need to take my car back in now that it's got 5000 miles on it...

Will be taking mine in Friday for some pulls. Willpost results when I get them sorted out. I have Dennis's chip with the on/off switch, so I'll make pulls both ways. The car has 4200+ wand will have close to 46-4700 when I take it in.

just out of curiousity, WHERE did you locate the on-off switch. I will be getting a chip in a month or so and want an on-off switch for when I give car to valets to park. Iwas thinking of hiding a toggle switch under the dash somewhere but am open to suggestions

If it was me I'd put it on the kick panel on the driver side.

Hey Logan, you didn't sell your car yet?

20% percent is the norm. I am bringing my ProStreet 68 Camaro in for a chassis dyno pull next week. The 548 motor made 748 HP and I am curious how much is going to be lost through the driveline.
If you want to see a picture just ask, hopefully nobody will get mad...its a Chevy...Shhhhhh! ;-)

Nope, still have it. Don't ask why, it's a long, annoying story...

I put the switch on the kick panel as high up as I could get. It's out of the way, hard to reach, even harder to see. But, then again, once the gears are installed, it'll stay in the on position anyway unless it's being serviced. I was also able to salvage the plastic thumb screrws that hold the lower dash panel on and used them again after I replaced the computer and chip. Logan's tech article was right on the money. It was such an easy upgrade.

I forgot to thank Logan for the great write up. So, THANKS!
