This is my first post. I've been eying Marauders ever since they came out in 2003. Thinking about barely picking one up. I have my eye on one already and will probably pick it up this weekend. (Blk 2004 with 108xxx miles) Stock except for a CAI. Anyway, this will be 2nd Ford product ever. My first was a 1965 Mustang I had in 1990 and my first late model performance car since 2002. (2002 Camaro SS) Trying to learn as much as I can. I love the idea of having a full size performance car that's stealthy and comfortable enough to drive anywhere.
Now that I've introduced myself, I'm going back to do some more reading around the forum.
See ya'll around. Cheers:beer:

Nice name. Methinks your quest for modifications will bear a similar allegorical resemblance to Ulysses from The Iliad.
.......
Was that too deep and poetic?

Please check out our Forum. I'm Cruzer. Aka Maury, the Old Man of the forum. Where are you located--- with the size of our state, it makes it difficult to coordinate things. As you read the Forum, you will see I am trying to breathe some life back into our group, sooooo, give us a quick run- down so we can know what you would like to do. And, as said by my buddies already, welcome to our Mad, Mad , Mad world of Maraudering . As you will find, there is a lot of talent and knowledge on MM. Net that can save you hours of research and LOTS of money. So jump right in--- on this site , don't hesitate to ask questions--- somebody will have the answers. Again, welcome to the site and the NTM group. Looking forward to seeing you soon. Maury

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys. Y'all seem like a fun group. I think I'm going to like it here! I'm located in Houston, born and raised. I think the addiction has started and I don't even have the car, yet. Hahaha. I've decided the first thing I want to do is exhaust and a tune by Mo. Going to wait on headers, but would like to upgrade the rest to probably SW. Seems to be what fits best on these cars. Can't wait! :D

Thanks! I'll give you a shout soon.
Well gentlemen, I ended up staying away from the one I was looking at. This car had the timing chain guide/tensioner noise that I've learned about. The guy who owns it now (3rd owner) bought it from the previous owner like that. Who knows how long the PO ignored it. Maybe it's no big deal, but better safe than sorry even though it has already been fixed. The search continues.
Question: Is it worth getting an '04 over an '03 for the upgraded transmission?
welcome to the neighborhood. . . :burnout:
