are there 2 on the car? when I had my Flowmasters put on there was only 1 and I did not think to keep it. are the dampers the same on the cvpi?

I am indeed assuming there are two...I've asked a few local shops if they have any take-offs, no dice. I have a vibration around 2000 rpm and I think it's my exhaust.

CVPI ones work well but are getting scarce!!

There is one on each side and you may find them at a bone yard??

Nearest boneyard I know if is 25 miles away. I see new is available from Ford for about $60/pair.

I found some for another member a few months ago and there were only a few left in the system then!!

If you can get new ones I'd do so since the exhaust systems in bone yards usually get crushed after they remove the cats!!:shake:

Good Luck!!

Headede out this weekend to a local boneyard with several retired and worn out CVP71's.....

How much should good used dampers cost? I will see how many are available. Very rural boneyard and nobody has a hot rodded Vic or Marauder around here but me.

I will get a quick inventory and post up. I am will to buy sell and ship for cost.

Lemme know with your mobile number by PM and I will text at the moment I am looking .

Thanks gents!

Every shop I talked to said they toss them. I need to lose the drone / vibe thing. If this cheap fix doesn't work then it's Delta 50's.

I'm betting it's the delta 50's - Would recommend Dynomax Super Turbo if you want quiet and better cfm than factory. Or Magnaflow. Did you delete the cats too?

Babbage -

Today the car has Delta 40 series, 2nd cat delete, stock everywhere else. Lidio tune and 410s. Adding dampers will hopefully mellow out the "hooooot" I get when running up through 2200rpm, as well as the vibration when decelerating through the same range, as well as the highway drone at cruising, 2100-2400rpm.

If not, or if it seems to help but I want more suppression, then I'll go to Delta 50s.

I'll research the DST recommendation, though, thanks!

Delta 40's were on my car when I bought it, and they have some drone in about that same RPM range. If you go with the dampers, please post the results ?

I'll take them if you're selling (price dependent).
