Today I was waxing the car after my side job and had quite a few people stop and ask about the car.
Usually the conversation would start as "I hear you roaring by my house all the time. That's one hell of a car, what's done to it?"
Or "I saw your flat tire last week and said "oh no, not that car.""
I stopped and talked a few times. Usually I blast Country or Hillbilly music to keep people away or just see the look of disgust because it's the last type of music you would hear in The City.
In my old neighborhood the people would call the police on me, in my new one they love it. I was told years ago this is where a lot of muscle cars lived, I guess the spirit is still here. Plus every once in a while you will see a garage open and find a good condition Camaro from the 60s or a Road Runner.
Today was a good day for the Marauder.
