SCT Xcal 2 problems...time out message

I got a SCT Xcal 2 for my '04 Marauder... as soon as I hook it up and try to load the 91 octaner tune, I am prompted to "turn on the key but not start"...I do this, and after about a minute, I get a time out message asking me to hit "select" start over again...and I get the same results....


Any ideas??? It's connected to the ODB port fine, but it's not getting past this step...

Something may be wrong with the tuner or the ODB port. Check inside the end of the SCT cable to make sure there are no bent pins. Your tuner is trying to establish communication with the PCM and there is none.
