Want to polish the lenses on my fog lights and not sure how to remove. I assume the whole assembly unscrews from the back somehow so the light and frame its in can be pulled out of the bumper ? Can anyone tell me how to remove ? By the way, I wanted to clean the inside of my head light covers. Anyone know how to remove and get to those ?

There are screws on the back side of the foglight/bumpercover to access fog lights. Easiest to do when the front tires are off but can be done, jut turn the wheel far right for driver side , then far left for passenger side..There is also a wiring harness that unplugs. Might be easier to just replace them with new. There are several recent threads about fog lights that can be purchased on ebay that many memebrs here have purchased, including myself..brand new, same as factory orginals etc.

headlights..need to tak the panel out from under the hood that covers the radiator to access the rear of the headlights...I think it is even easier when you remove the grille, also accessed frm under the radiator cover. The headlights are sealed units, some say they can be opened by placing them inside an oven at like 200 for a few minutes to soften the sealer and then have to reseal.

There are 4 screws per foglight assembly.

Much easier with the front wheels removed or on a lift but they can be removed by jacking up each side and turning the front wheels. I've done at least 5 Marauders that way.

If your foglights are in really bad shape I'd replace them. You can get a pair for less than $100.00.

I offer a HID upgrade to the foglights if you are interested.

The foglight lens is glass, not plastic like the headlight so about all you can do is clean it, buff and polish.

If they are really pitted you can pick up a new set for about $100-115 off ebay.

Make sure you check to make sure that the wire harness/bulb in in correctly, when I replaced my bulb I thought it was in correctly and on the final check I realized that it was crooked. Other members have had damage to the lower fender plastic melting from the hot bulb as the bulb/harness came loose and laid on the inside of the plastic.
