Sounds like the brake light switch has gone bad. Look at the instructions in the do it yourself section under the pedal repair. There is a perfect picture of this switch. It controls both situations you are having.

I replaced my brake light switch a few months ago, really easy to do and I think the part was $15-20 from Ford.

Had the same issue happen to me a little over a year ago. I checked the fuse and it was blown; put in a new one and was gtg...until a week or two later. Fuse had blown again, so I put in a new one, POP! Tried again, POP! Turned out to be a chaffed wire under the dash, so if your fuse is ok (or put in a new one and POP) and brake light switch is ok, you might have a chaffed wire.
In order to shift out of park, turn the key as if you are going to start the engine, but stop just before engaging the starter; this will allow you to move the shifter into neutral, then you can start the car and shift into drive. This is how I was able to get home from where I was stranded and get to the dealership several weeks later. I was VERY nervous driving w/o working brake lights, but made it home and to the dealership w/o any issues....whew!

I apologize for the late response, it was the BOO Switch.

Good Morning All,
I am having the same problem again, no brake lights and stuck in parking. I notice I don't have power to the brake light fuse as well. All fuses check out fine and have tried new fuses but nothing works. I read the wire itself from the BOO switch to the interlock solenoid goes bad, would that prevent the fuse from getting power?

No power to either side of the fuse?

Nope, no power at all. I'm tracing the wire when I get home.

Quick update, when I got home last night I checked my turn signals and emergency lights and nothing, sounds like the LCM or I could be wrong.

Try tapping the LCM. If it works you either need your repaired (I can do it for $75.00) or a new one from Ford ($600.00).

OK, I do have some already repaired and ready to ship out. These will need a core charge that is returned to you once I get your old LCM back.
