FYI: PO108 + Check Engine Light

My ('03 MM) check engine light came on. ScanGauge showed 3 codes, PO108, P0000, & P000. It seems the EGR valve also has Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP (http://engine-codes.com/articles/map-sensor.php)) sensor with, and is a possible reason for the PO108 fault code.

I cleared the codes, and haven't had another occurrence.

I was getting a Check Engine Light every 100 miles or so. I replaced the EGR valve, and it seems to be the cure.

They are ~$70 to $90 from Rock Auto. A local Advance Auto had one in stock at 20% ($72) off for the July 4th weekend, so I installed it - very easy job, 10mm socket for 4 cap-screws, and a 1 1/16" open end wrench for the exhaust tube. A little anti-seize and I was done in ~15 minutes.
