Did you guys drill holes in your bumper to install your chin spoilers or just use the factory bolts that are already there?

I drilled holes in mine and used 1/4" plastic push rivets to secure it.
Most of the holes in the bumper will not line up with the spoiler.

I drilled holes and used SS screws with large "Fender Washers" along with a bead of black silicone!!
I didn't like the "daylight" you could see between it and the bumper cover!!:shake:

I also drilled holes in my bumper...and since I have not used any sealer there are a couple of places where I can see light between the spoiler and the bumper...but I will attend to that soon enough.

Holes, barely any gap between the spoiler and bumper.

You can also use double sided tape. Will stay in place when drilling the holes. Clean both surfaces really good.

I used these, no drilling necessary since they are self tapping. My spoiler has been on the car for at lease 4 yrs with no issues. you can also get them at you r local auto parts store.

My spoiler seems undersized... Maybe I got screwed. Seems to narrow... May attempt to install it soon

I used duct tape - Repositioning was easy. Then drilled holes (watch the air bag sensors) and used plastic rivets.
As I had a gap, I backfilled the underside of the spoiler with some 3/8" (I think) clear hose to "rotate" the spoiler downwards and as a result up toward the bumper.
Then, black silicone.
Still whistles.
