First idle with the new stroker engine. May need to play with idle air spark, isc, etc. Wasn't looking for any lope, just torque and mo powah, but, degreeing them in at about 108/118 I wanted gave me this:

Sounds good I think for a cold idle, lets hear it running hot at around 650-750 - that will speak volumes! :) Congrats on degreeing your cams. Hugh-da-mann!

If you don't mind can you tell us a little more about the engine, did you notice a drop off in psi with the stroker and cams, trying to get an idea of how much those two to combine can effect psi. Sounds nice by the way.

Thank you!
Engine: WAP block 4.6l bored .020, stroked to 301cid, 9.2:1 cr w/valve reliefs.
Heads: 04-9 thread, port matched and blended, bowl work, valve seats opened up and blended in, intake valves deshrouded, polished combustion chambers (liquid measured chambers @ 55cc, decked the heads to bring cr back in line), Oil drain-back holes bored larger, FR500 SS valves/springs/followers (16 FR500 followers on exhaust valves, stockers on intake) and of course the Crower stage 2 blower cams degreed right about 108/118 using the Cloyes adjustable cam gears and TFS crank gears.
Supercharger: Ported Eaton, elbow ported/welded and port matched to my BBK twin 65mm, stock upper and 6lb lower. Was at 14psi with the previous engine and get a solid 12psi now at WOT. :D

Niceee, you seemed to have built this car to me a quiet monster, which leads me to believe a bigger S/C is in the near future for you. For some reason I thought you had a Whipple on it already .I read on here #4 lower was the biggest we could go on our cars?

You know ur chit. Yup, Whipple will be in the near future. SW full exhaust first though.
I can get away with the 6lb lower since I have the more expensive full length Gortch brackets.
You can see it in the pic here:

Thanks for the complement, I've done a LOT of research on these motors since I bought my car three years ago. Just been blue printing it really in my mind, think I finally have an idea what I would like built though. Your setup is stout, my guess is (could be wrong of course) 2.3L Whipple from the #6 lower that is already on unless your plan on going back down to either a #2 lower or lower then I could see you going for the 2.9L Whipple

Hehe! 2.3l gen 2 is what I've been eyeing.
Vacuum is 12" in D and 14" in N. I'm trying to get idle spark/injector timing/ISC air control dialed in.
Dyno this Saturday if all goes as planned.

Not bad. Mine is between 9-11 but I need to alter the Bypass valve as its always spinning the blower..

That was the first thing I checked when I noticed the lower vac. Bypass is working good at idle and in drive here luckily.
