What RPM's are you turning on WOT acceleration at 1-2 shift and 2-3 shift?? :confused:

Just curious......I'll let you know what mine does after a few answers! ;)

Also, what is the published torque band of our engines?? I'm guessing 2500-5500 RPM's?? :confused:

6000 before the Jerry mod to the trans now about 5800.

6100 on the nose....

I only hit the rev limiter when OD is off on the highway while passing and I am not paying attention.

Near as I can tell mine shifts at 5500-5600 at both shifts?? :confused:

Just wondering at what RPM the torque starts to fall off?? I guess we can manually shift to get 6K but the few times I tried this before the "Tuner" the shifts were slow and sloppy......would probably hit the limiter if playing at WOT......so I haven't tried it since!! :(

It will soon become apparent that those of us with tuning will have shifts right on the money at the top of the band, those that do not will have lower shift points.

I have a different engine, but I'm shifting at 5300 RPM. With my new cams and intake, I'll be tuning my car to hit 6000 for each shift at WOT.

Is yours shifting at 55-5600 because of the 'tuning'? Do you recall what it shifted at prior to the tuning? As I posted, mine shifts right at the redline/WOT,its bone stock ,only 500 miles.

I go all the way to 6500, right before the rev limiter.

Mine has the latest version of Dennis' "Custom Tuner"!! Possibly Jerry and Dennis lowered the shift points to take advantage of torque band??? :confused: I'll ask Dennis next time I talk to him.

I think it went to about 6K with the stock program but I didn't do it but a couple of times?? :(

If I didn't have a tach I wouldn't know......It's screaming when it shifts!!
