Dealer Alarm / Remote Start Install Questions...

Please answer my questions on the dealer installation
of the Alarm and Remote Start installation.

1. Will the remote truck release still work after install?

2. Where do they typically put the alarm LED indicator?

3. Are their optional locations for the LED indicator?

4. What is the best location for this LED indicator?

5. What items on and in the car are protected by this alarm system?

6. Overall, does this alarm and remote work well?

I have three put in different cars in the last year. The key fob is replaced with a new one and to open the trunk you keep the unlock button drpressed for a couple of seconds and the trunk pops. I have had great luck with mine and the remote distance is greatly improved. The LED on mine were put under the guages, left side of steering wheel and the valet switch is by the hood release. The only issue I ever had was when they initially put it in the Marauder the car wouldn't stay running. The tech told me that the Marauder had a higher starting rpm than the factory set over speed safety. Either way it was promptly remedied. Hope this helps
