I bought this in hopes of fixing the CD load error. After removing the cd's that were in the unit it did not make a difference.

Even with a nonfunctional CD changer this unit is a good upgrade for a broken stock unit. An iPod interface adapter can easily be added to this unit unlike the stock one.

I have fixed a couple of these. If the top of the unit is bent down (center, directly behind the black face) even a 1/16" it will never work. All I ever do is take the top of the unit off and slightly bend it outwards/upwards. Works every time.
