Put me down as a maybe. I'm in the process of trying to switch career fields from retail to something involving traveling the world on a Fortune 100 company's dime. I would be out of the country from April through October.

But back to the topic at hand, double occupancy at that rate is a pretty good price especially during prime vacation season.

I have stayed every year on Hanover street and paid $ 189.00 per night. The Central Hotel is only charging $ 105. This year, I am staying at the central. The Shelby guys will have to get along without me. It is only 25 miles away and in a Muscle Car, that is under 20 minutes.
For anyone who was thinking that $ 105 per night is pricey, try to book a room in Manhattan.

Today I took the Marauder on a poker run for a local fund raiser.
Now I'm sad to say the car goes into storage until next year.

Just signed up for Carlisle as part of the MMNet club and made reservations for the Hampton Inn, Harrisburg North. It's down the street from the Central Hotel and I have Hilton Points :-) 105+ rate. This will be our 1st Carlisle event. We'll be at the hotel Friday and Saturday and depart on Sunday. Let's hope I have the Marauder back by then :rolleyes:.

Class 200 is 2003-2004 Mercury Marauder (Stock)
Class 201 is 2003-2004 Mercury Marauder (Modified)
Class 238 is 1963-1970 Mercury Marauders

Make sure to Pick your car club as "MercuryMarauder.Net".

If you register before 5 May, you will get a 10% discount and your showfield sticker will arrive in the mail about 2 weeks before the event. Put the sticker on the top part of the windshield on the driver's side.

When you arrive at Gate 3 at Carlisle, you will be waved through and directed to the proper color area for parking. When you get that close, you will see the rest of us.

Update on room quantities in our reserved block: Since most all rooms originally reserved for us are soldout, I spoke with the rooms manager today about getting more. 8 more rooms have been added for Friday and Saturday nights. I encourage anyone who plans to attend Carlisle and would like to stay at The Central Hotel to make your reservations as soon as you are able. If these 8 rooms sell out fairly soon I have a better chance of asking for a few more. Remember that May 5th is the last day to book. Hope to see you there! Ms. D (and Mr. Man)

Just got off the phone with the hotel. I have been advised that reservations need to be made by phone using the group code MC016 . Sorry for the problem. They hope to have it resolved on Monday, 4/21.

There will probably only be a small handful of people who arrive on Thursday. Most of the regulars come in on Friday. I will get to the showfield about 11:30 AM on Friday. Saturday is normally the biggest attendance with some folks just coming for the day.

There will probably only be a small handful of people who arrive on Thursday. Most of the regulars come in on Friday. I will get to the showfield about 11:30 AM on Friday. Saturday is normally the biggest attendance with some folks just coming for the day.

Joan (Ms YIMMA) and I made reservation at the Central Hotel for Friday and Sat. nights. We booked the Double Queen room in hope that Mebot (son-Ryan) will be able to join us pending his and Michelle's move to the west coast. We will attend on Saturday... We only live a 3 hours away & will drive in...

However if there gonna be a MM.net dinner somewhere Saturday night we would be interested... b4 we drive back home... ( I do not believe we will stay till Sunday... not this year...
