Hello Collective

Are there any products/suggestions for cleaning/shampooing floor mats?

Especially the cleaning/TLC of the MARAUDER embroidery.

Thanks.

Simple green mixed with a little bit of dawn. Hose down, scrub, remove with shampooer, rinse with clean water, remove water with shampooer, air dry. works fantastic.

Awesome from dollar tree, spray on, use toothbrush around embroidered area, use a larger brush for the rest... hose off, air dry by propping them up on their sides.

I use the same shampoo as I use to wash the car. And just about as often, twice a year. Blue Coral. Throw the mats out beside the car, dump some car wash on them, spray with garden hose until suds go away, same as on the Marauder. Throw the mats on top of your fence and let them drip dry while you wash (and wax, if you are into that) the Marauder.
Save time, save money, you're welcome.

Thanks all!!

I've only used the spray/scrub/vacuum technique and didn't want to mess up the stitching.

I never thought about hosing the mats down and letting them dry.

I brush them and shake out all the dirt before getting them wet and rebrushing...

Now, spray on a good carpet cleaner, Folex works great...

Brush it in real good and and apply more if necessary......

Rinse off excess suds and use a wet vac with a carpet attachment....

Pull all of the water out of the mats one row at a time and alternate the direction with each row and you'll end up with some nice golf course looking fairway stripes......:D

Once a year at least and you'll keep them looking good for a long time.....
