View Full Version : For Sale Complete Built MM Motor (cast Crank) $4300.00
Built MM motor for sale $4300.00
This is the motor I purchased from Blackmobile and has about 10K miles on it. Ed can correct me on anything I misspeak about! It has been sitting covered in my garage and is ready to drop in!
Note: This does have a cast crank which is safe up to 600 rwhp with a supercharger. With the turbo it will be good for 700 rwhp as you don’t have to waste hp turning the SC and take the SC belt load off the crank. The oil pan has been drilled in the front for an oil return line.
Custom 9CC CP pistons - final compression ratio 9.3-1 and a final displacement of about 283ci
Manley H Beam Rods, Mahle Molly rings, King Rod Bearings, King main bearings
ARP main studs, ARP head studs, Ferrea Stainless forged hard chrome stem exhaust valves, New Timing Chain guides / arms, New Valve stem seals, Pipe plugs, Oil Pump
Intake cam, New Valve Springs, Gaskets, Disassemble, clean, surface, valve job, assemble 4v heads, Clean, bore/plate hone, surface Block, balance crank.......Evenflow Rear engine cooling mod / With custom cross-over tube
Meziere Electric water pump
NGK TR6IX plugs
Alternator
This motor would be about 7500 built for you - and that one wouldn't be complete!!

Guys, I need to know my TRUE issue before any purchase is made. Even though this is a good deal, I would need a sponsorship to acquire it.

What does sponsorship mean?
The same thing my stepsons do:
Wear out and break the car faster than you can make money to repair it.

What does sponsorship mean?
A sponsorship is when a company gives money or their product for free to pay for expenses. This comes with the price that the name of the sponsor is known. It must brought into the faces and or ears to the general public.
This can work multiple ways. Sometimes it means getting a product or service at a discounted rate instead of getting the full expense taken care of. When a sponsorship occurs you must prove to the company that provided the sponsorship, you are worth their investment. By getting them customers and making them money because you got their name out there, you will have proven you are a positive return on investment. When such is achieved they may want to sponsor you again so you keep bringing in the customers.
So if I obtained a sponsorship to acquire the engine if needed, the name of the sponsor would go on the car. It would have to be documented and proven that the car went to shows, races and had serious time on the road getting the name out there. It could also go on the side of a trailer that will be towed around the country getting the name out there as well. Even if it's a U-haul, vinyl can still be stuck to the side and taken off easily at the end of the tour. It's all negotiable, but one thing is for sure is you must fulfill the agreed upon requirements. Breach of contract can get messy and costly.
In the end everyone wins. The sponsor makes money and one will continue on their journey.
I could be wrong, this is just my point of view. No google search was done.

Sounds like you had a bad experience or failed to write up a contract.

Yes, it is .020 over I believe.
Who built the motor & was it dyno tested ?
Al Papito did the motor and head work and assembled it. He is one of the best if not the best mod motor builder in the country. Ed (Blackmobile) ran it with his blower on it for a while before he parted out his car, so Yes, it was dynoed and run in.

I watched this motor built. Step by step and part by part. It took 6 weeks and the build was worth about $8K when completed.
Al Pappito at Boss 330 racing is an absolute mastermind. Right down to the profile of the valvle seats. There's a whole thread on the building of this motor that I wrote here somewhere....
