Definitely a fourth gen, newest it could possibly be is '02

Seeing as it has pillar gauges, that guy is either boosted or possibly a tool (usually pointless to have a cluster setup like that if you aren't boosted.) However, if that is an LS1 Trans-Am ('98-'02) it's gonna be at least quick even if he isn't boosted. This is ruling out the possibility of him fake-badging the car, but that only really matters if he's a V6 posing as a Trans-Am; V8 Firebirds and Trans-Ams make identical power, despite what GM literature and hear-say might lead you to believe.

Rather have the Firehawk upgraded TA. Especially the one year they removed the flip up headlights...Awesome car. Drove the last year brand new looking to buy it...
