Well, after a year of owning this ride, it's time for me to go back to Mustangs. Finances and parking space only allow one toy at a time, so the Marauder is up for sale.

I bought the car you see from a forum member in Washington state last year. It is in really nice shape. No dents or dings..paint is pretty good, about an 8-8.5.

Mechanically, the car is perfect. In the last year I replaced all four rotors and pads, had the brake system flushed, and all new fluid. Brakes are dimpled rotors from performance brake.

Also, fresh oil, plugs, coil boots, radiator flush, air filter, new ford battery, rear end oil changed. Previous owner did tyranny 6 months before I bought it. (****As of the date of this post, fastblackmerc is repairing the LCM and EATC.)

Flaws: rear wing is lifting just a bit on one side..needs to be removed and new adhesive applied. (Local body shop said $100 so I was going to do it myself, just been too busy)

Yep light flint in a black marauder is more rare than a dark blue without a radio.... cos at least we know this combination exists!

Whitey, you are correct that the asking may be a bit high, but it is based on a couple of factors....

First, the car is essentially turn key. Nothing needed mechanically for quite some time, since all the major service work was done in the last 6mo-1year.

Second, pricing tends to be a bit regional. If this car was located in Texas for example, there would be a lot more competition, thus commanding a lower price. Last year before I bought this car, I looked at 5-6 in the Bay Area, all asking 14+ and they were all clapped out crap boxes, with a lot of poorly done mods, or neglected maintenance. I had to go all the way to WA to buy this car.

Finally, I am realistic and have some flexibility, so I will entertain any reasonable offer. Like I said in the original post, I would much rather have it go to an enthusiast that someone who is going to turn it into a taxi.

Going to use the money to fund a used GT500 and can't shop for one till I have the garage space once the Marauder is gone.

Ok, because I am a complete moron, and don't read my emails thoroughly, I just realized I have been having one conversation with multiple people. :banghead:This is why a person should only do one thing at a time....there have been a couple of questions about the car, its availability, and who the prior owner was....

1) The car is still for sale.
2) A friend has expressed interest, but I have yet to see any $$.
3) I know people from outside the bay area have expressed interest, so I will only deal with one person at a time. (It is not fair if someone is willing to travel to look at the car, to then sell it to someone else or try to leverage additional money.)
4) This is not a trilogy. Bought it from a member here about 2 years ago, don't recall the gentleman's name, but he was from Washington State.
5) Current millage is just under 52k
6) The price is 12k firm. If someone wants to pay that cool..if not, I am happy to keep driving it.
