Both front windows go up slowly. The windows rock forward slightly and if I pull them towards the rear of the car, they go up at normal speed. I suspect window guides are worn. Lubing the tracks doesn't make much of a difference.

Can these things be adjusted or should I just replace the guides?

Typical problem on MMs, GMs and CVs. Lots of misalignment of the window guides. Had mine adjusted back in 2005 when I was getting similar slow movement/binding and channel lubrication didn't help much.

Yes, try adjusting the guides to keep the window steady.

I took my drivers side door panel off and adjusted the window and lubed everything i could. Drivers side is now a ton better, passenger is still slow in spots but its better.

Mine went up slow for a year, then I change my battery... It must have had a bad cell.

Mary's car has the exact same issue with the driver's door. I've taken it apart and adjusted everything I could unbolt and it made no difference. Any other suggestions?

Only use one switch at a time. Keep the car running to do it. Pull the window up as you are raising it. It sounds silly, but pulling the window has gotten my passenger one back to to speed... it might have put it "back" into place.

^ Thanks, will try that! Also, I'm still on my original battery, might have something to do with it.

If the window is slow while the car is running it's not the battery.

Thanks for all the advice! Window guide adjustment/lube is on the docket for this weekend.

That's what I always figured. Heck if the battery causes a window to go up slow, how in the heck would it be starting the car time after time..
