Our bumpers have a built-in stud so you won't need additional fasteners for installation.
Additional information about rubber (http://www.mcmaster.com/#about firmness ratings for rubber) and other vibration mounts (http://www.mcmaster.com/#vibration mounts).
Bumpers with a metal core withstand impact with a tough steel core that is surrounded by cushioning material. For indoor and outdoor use. Medium-soft bumpers have a durometer hardness of 40A. Hard bumpers have a durometer hardness of 70A-80A.
Polyurethane bumpers are abrasion and ozone resistant. Temperature range is –65° to +200° F. Material is marking but nonstaining. Color is red.

First one is too short? Are these a bolt-in replacement? How much travel increase?

First one was the wrong one.
Not so much an increase but allows the suspension to travel and NOT hit the frame rails when lowered. I've been using the taller/second one above w/the rear height adjustment sensor set as low as it will go.

I seem to recall you adjusted the pinion angle to match.

Yes I did - with a little help from Tom from SpartaPerformance.
There are some pictures of the adjustable lower control arms in my gallery in the photo section.

Did you notice a reduction in spring rate?

I was expecting it but could not detect any difference.
Finally i have installed Energy Suspension all purpose bump stop #9.9101R (the R is for red, you can get it black too #9.9101B).
I installed those because they are made of quality polyurethane, perfect size, fit and made for this purpose. Original Ford bump stop are 3" 3/4 tall vs 2" 1/4 for the Energy. This make a difference of 1" 1/2 which is exactly the drop on my car, plus they have about the same footprint. The stud is 3/8 vs 8mm for the Ford so I had to oversize the hole a little bit.

I've heard rear only hit the bump stops once or twice, be nice to put the shorter and stiffer bump stops in..
This is exactly what you need

Where did you procure these from?

I went with the Energy Suspension 9.9154 (http://www.prothane-suspension.com/proddetail.asp?prod=9.9154) as it looked like it would provide a nicer arrest of the rear suspension. I cut the tab off and drilled the axle mounting bracket for the 3/8" bolt vs M8 stocker. I don't hit the bump stops that often, so hard to know how well they work until I get softer shocks on the rear that allow greater freedom of movement and utilization of the full travel.

Ordered these up... Will be putting them on hopefully this weekend, once on I plan on making the car sit a bit more level, should fix the over raked look I have.
Thanks guys for the info!
Don't forget that you can cut them to adjust clearance if more needed, they are made for that.
