First...any preferred brand of injector cleaner used by "rank & file"?
Second....Is it safe to "J" mod a tranny W/145,000 on the clock?
Any and all responses will be acutely evaluated, as I don't want to (even possibly) hurt what I so luckly found locally.
Thanks!! WannaMM

I've never used an injector cleaner, per sey, always just use Tier One gasoline. Lotsa guys have used Seafoam, though.
The j-mod's a good modification to make to your trans, IMO, if anything, it'll probably improve the life of the transmission as it'll shift much more responsively.

Techron.
Don't buy it unless it's Buy One, Get One Free.

Chevron Techron, Gumout Regane, or Red Line SI-1.
There should no problem doing the J-mod at any time. It can only help. :)

I've kinda heard that Autos can get touchy with higher miles. If its made it 145k. I'd leave it alone. I don't really see the point in doing a J-mod anyway as using a hand held can make the car bark the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts no prob. As for injector cleaner I like the Techron stuff. I run it through the car once a year.
Seafoam is crap. I used to be a fan till I bore scoped to see some results. Which, were nothing.
