I am seriously thinking about having my black '03 repainted black piece by piece. There is no help for it and it makes my stomach turn to look at it. I have seen some recommendations for black paint brands but I haven't been able to find the links. What brands do you recommend and what are the paint codes?

I'd check with the body shop you intend to use. I'm sure they could make a recommendation.

Keep in mind most shops will have a particular brand that they use and may not want to use anything else.

You do realize that it will not match if you do this right? No matter what, you can't paint them at different times and different conditions and have it look the same...

I worked in a Ford dealer body shop for 4 years, and did collision estimates for 3 of them. Unless you are doing the work yourself, (or have an acquaintance doing it "on the side") it will cost more to have it done piece by piece.
