View Full Version : John Harvard's Brewery Mini-Meet...Lake Grove, LI - April 25th???

April 24th is about the only weekend that works for me unfortunately.
I seem to be busy almost every other week until the 1st Weekend in May.

This was more of a Mini-Meet that DL04, NexStar7, and myself were going to have...but all are always welcome. :)

They Open at 11:30am so maybe we can meet at 11am to get good spots in the Parking Lot.

Here's where it is...FYI, the map they have is wrong but use this one:

Sounds good to me, the 25th/Sunday would be best for me.I have the New York City Amateur on Sat.in Queens-cant always rely on getting an early tee time,let me know I can always try to get an earlier time.

This is to close to home to miss!
Also the Beer and food are good. Count me in for the 24th!

So we have one vote for Saturday, one vote for Sunday.

My opinion, I'd lean to toward DL04's availability cause it was his and my idea...lol.

My personal preference is Saturday but I can do either day.

From NYC, take GCP which becomes Northern Pkwy. At the end of that, it merges with 347. Stay on 347 which bares off to the left a mile or two after the Northern Pkwy ends. After you pass over Rt-25, start staying to the right and you'll see it right before the "Sports Plus" place.

Just so there's no confusion, we are meeting Sunday April 25th, 11am at John Harvard's.

I keep post the map cause my hosting website has been acting very weird....

This meet is separate to the "NY/NJ/CT April Meet". It was going to be a Mini-Meet but it is turning into a regular meet...hehe.

Hey guys I just found out about a car show in St.James {which is less than a mile north of John Harvards}on the 25th-Effster is going to be showing his Supercharged Blue Marauder there, so if your interested maybe after lunch we can shoot up there and give'em a little support! :beer:

Cool! I'll see if my boss wants to show his '70 Chevelle & '72 Monte Carlo. Both for sale - not my taste but the Chevelle is mint & the Monte only has 24k original miles! He lives in St. James too. Looks like this could turn out to be a good meet!

Danny I cant make the cruise to Philly but I'll see you guys at John Harvards.I just saw that some of the guys out in the Detroit area are trying to get a dynoday scheduled with Lidio! I checked with Mapquest,its only a 10 hr ride {we could probably do it in 7 or 8} it all depends on the dates for me-June and July are real busy months for me especially with the US OPEN being held here. Let me know if you have any interest or anyone else for that matter-------See you at the Brewery :beer: :beer: BTW too bad you couldnt make it to CB'S + the mattress tossing :up:

HEY EFFSTER do you have any info on the car show at Flowerfields? Start of show,end~ time you get your TROPHY? I haven't seen any info around town about the show. A few of us are meeting at John Harvards @ 11-11:30 stop by on your way up to the show if you can.
