Well darn... I was really looking forward to getting covered by Hagerty Insurance...
They said it has nothing to do with the make and/or model...They said they do not insure daily drivers...:(

Very few if any specialty insurance companies do daily drivers...:shake:

Try Heacock Insurance. They don't insure daily drivers but will insure a Marauder. I have my 02 GT vert, 90 5.0 LX, ADAM-12 cop car and Marauder insured thru them. Hope this helps.

I believe Heacock wants a DD of 15 years or newer.

Good morning all.
I called American collectors in cherry hill Nj yesterday they will cover the MM. You pay a bit extra but they will let you drive the car A few times a month to work dinner 7500 mile a year. I will be checking Classic Underwriters Car Ins also but as of right now A C looks to be the best I have found for what I am looking for.

Sounds like they are similar to classic. That's half the reason I went with them. You were actually allowed to take the car to dinner and to work on occasion to show it off. The other places want it kept in the garage or at a show in your presence at all times
Bonus was collectors wound up being 15% less to boot :D

This morning I gave Classic Underwriters A call. Spoke with Nicole They seem to have the best price half of what I would've paid with another insurance company. They have very limited Restrictions. You must have a primary car. I think I will be going with Classic Underwriters.

Did you guys get a agreed upon value? I presume you have to turn in pictures and receipts to attain that value. Just checking as I am looking into too.

They ask you how much you want to ins the car for. There is a Limit Before you have to get it appraised I would think.

When I picked up my '03 Blk on New Year's Eve, it was to be a replacement vehicle for my '91 5.0 LX that I had for nearly 22 years.
The Mustang was insured with American Collectors since about 2005.
I was surprised when they turned down my request to add the Merc to the policy, saying simply it did not qualify.

PS - The Mustang left KY early last month for its new home in Tulsa.

Funny, I had Grundy for a few years on mine. They would insure 2004's but not 2003's. The low build number made that possible.
