Getting the blower ready to line up and bolt onto the lower intake but these copper stud rings are making it hard. There are two in the lower intake, here's a picture of one of them in the back passenger corner, right behind the cooling mod fitting. Can I remove both of them and just bolt the eaton on or do you have to have them?

They are probably there to help align the intake. If so, they aren't "needed".
