I found this ad in Autotrader. I found it encouraging when you consider how depressing the value of the MM is when looked up on Kellybluebook.com. Would be interesting to know what this dealer actually gets for this car.

Are you aware that this is the VT car? They wanted like $55.000.00 last summer. Keep that in mind......

The kit for the motor was $16,000 for the conversion kit and the supercharger is another $7,000.WHEW!thats more than what i paid for my car!!:burnout: :burnout: Need to hit the lottery yeah..
That's a GREAT deal for probably the "stoutest" Marauder on the streets, right now

Well, I doubt that now Todd-- huh,...there are alot of us here on the board who are quite proud of our "Stats" which we feel are just as " Stout"......humnnnn
If I understand Todd's statement correctly, when he says "stout" he's referring not only to HP, but to the actual strength of the engine as well. There is no question that there are some awesome tricked out MM's on this board, with power to spare, but one could easily argue that the initial VT rebuild with the stroker kit, followed by supercharging, delivers not only awesome power, but internal strength as well. I personally don't have the cash for either, but if it was in the budget, I'd start with the VT engine myself.

IF I had it to do over again, I would stillhave VT do my engine, but I think I wouldn't get it stroked. I wiould just rebuild with the high quality parts, and look at the veriouse Supercharger options.

I've met the car, it's a well done professional build of a Marauder. 42K seems stiff due to it's age and mileage, but it's fair too. This is one clean and fast MM. If anyone has been looking for the MM of their dreams, here it is.
