K&N Cold air intake kit question - edge trim dimensions

For those that have the K&N cold air intake kit for their Marauders, would you be able to take rudimentary measurements on the edge trim used on the heatshield? Like, how thick the whole seal is from the top of the squishy bulb to the bottom edge of the grip area, and maybe the estimated thickness of the heatshield itself?

I installed the Marauder airbox on my Crown Vic about a decade ago and no longer have the original airbox and 70mm MAF, so what I did was hodge podge the K&N kit onto my Vic and have been piecing together the parts individually. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Call K&N, they will send you a new one. For me, my was deteriorated so I called them, and as part of the lifetime warranty, they sent me a new one.

I have had them send me the rubber moulding, CARB sticker and a bolt. Three different calls and not one issue. I had called to buy the part and they told me I have a lifetime warranty -- made my day.

K&N customer service is great,I got a used FIPK from someone and they sent me a new rubber gasket/seal for the plate that's supposed to block hot air and a new mounting bracket to replace the one I got that was hacked up,all at at no charge!
Give them a call.
