Shortblock or entire engine

Hello all,

I am looking for a decent short block or entire engine assembly to replace the blown engine in my marauder. would be willing to pick up within a reasonable distance (I live in Davenport, IA) or pay for shipping. Im just putting a feeler out there because there isn't a whole lot of these for sale in my area

And yes that motor would be great! A marauder with a cobra engine and 6 speed would be amazing!

He will part out the tranny for you and drop the price. Or strip it down to a longblock and work out a deal.

I have an 04 cobra longblock on an engine stand in storage. It is a direct from Ford Racing take-off engine. Heads and cams are in pristine condition. Bottom end needs to be inspected as I noticed 2 small metal shavings when I sifting through the oil and inspecting the bottom end on my engine stand. Never had an opportunity to take it to my shop.

This engine has a brand new marauder oil pick-up tube and marauder oil pan so no swapping on that front required.

If you are interested, I will let it go for MUCH less than what you are looking to spend.

Reason for selling: DIVORCE and rather keep some other toys.

EDIT: engine will not come with timing cover or valve covers because I have them custom powdercoated and am selling separately. Also, 2 small metal flakes were each less than 2 millimeters in length...would never have seen them except I am OCD about everything.

I appreciate your offer, but I am going to buy an engine from a member on here (curless) and we are going to install it at his shop. Im sure someone else on here would like to buy a cobra longblock though :eek:
