taking the stick on door moulding off? anyone else think they look 'tacked on' and an after thought? was thinking about hitting them with the heat gun to warm the double stick tape and removing 'em. does anyone know if there are any holes behind them?

There is a hole, covered with a plug, on both rear doors, it is hidden by the molding.

They have already saved me from a few dings. I would be VERY reluctant to remove them.

I like the look on the black cars. and it has saved me from a few dings.

If you can find some pics from SEMA in LV last year, look at the treatment from Paul's performance. The front fender and front dooor mouldings are gone, and the rear door mouldings trimmed back 1/2, with a black GodsHead leader. Very classy look, and I am sure some first rate body work was involved.
