hi guys I need some help,friday I was driving home from work and my 03 marauder went crazy! it has a rough idle and no power. I got it home barely and checked my plugs and coils. replaced both and still acting funny. no tune and 4.10 gears. just checked again and the drivers side tailpipe is blowing cold and the passenger side is hot.any clues

How old is the battery?

Newer cars act all screwy when battery voltage isn't up to par.

Thanks guys , to answer your questions I have an optima red top battery, I cleaned the maf twice, and there is no check engine light.the cel came on right after the car stared mafunctioning but now it has not flashed again.btw , when the car went crazy the oil pressure dropped on the "factorygauge" and last night the passenger side spark plugs were fouled so I replaced them again.

Uh have you checked your oil? Just in case the pressure really was low?

If not sounds like low current to me. Alt or battery. Factory oil pressure gauge is attached to no other system. Just the 12 volt. Gage is basically bulletproof, but sender could be bad (at the same time though?)

How does voltmeter look?

Try cleaning the contacts on the battery. A corrosion short could show up like that.

last night the passenger side spark plugs were fouled so I replaced them again.Were they oil-fouled or dry carbon? Possibly a bad O2 sensor on Bank 1 causing that side to go rich.

carbon fouled, but my voltage is great 14.9volts and the oil was changed 2 weeks ago

First things first, get the codes pulled before you disconnect the battery. Even if the CEL has turned off, the past codes are still stored in the computer.

What about the wire bundle that runs over the passenger side valve cover? Don't things get all screwy when the cover wears through the insulation?

Has the car been acting funny in the past or did this problem just suddenly occur without warning?

More info needed! Believe it or not, a lot of people here are amazing internet mechanics.

^^^ Agree, take to AutoZone, flaps, etc they will connect OBDII scan tool and read the codes.

Ever Replace the fuel Filter?

Clean the Throttle Body and IAC (Idle Air control) - get a can of seafoam and spray it into the the throttle body.

How old are the cops/boots/coil connectors?
What plugs are you using? .054?

O2 sensors should be replaced after 10 years or 100K

PCV Valve ok? Hose vaccume leak etc?

Just tossing out a few ideas.

Just a thought, it should throw a code, but The only thing that would make sence to me is a cloged cat on one side. But you do have a H Pipe so some heat would come out the other side .That would make the car run bad too. The other part of what you explained sounds more like something electrical.

the car has been running perfect for the past 6 years.took it to autozone today and now there are no codes in it. coils,boots,springs, and plugs are new.fuel filter 3 months old
