New 4 Inch Tips

I got New 2 1/2 inch tail pipes with 4 inch tips installed today,Not Megs tips but Magnaflow tips,It is the closest I can get to it.The Rodder is mean with a deep rumble & not hesitating or much shaking with the Comp Stage 3 Cams.:burnout:
A few other things to do yet 42 lbs injectors,fuel system,90 mass air & dyno.

hmmmm very interesting. I need to have my tips fixed, angle is wrong on them... Was debating on upgrading to non-res tips at the time.

Worried about drone @ 2k rpm... any new drone with non res tips?

You can get rid of a lot of cabin noise and drone by extending the tips out past the bumper cutouts.

Saw and heard these in person today. They look good and his car has a nice deep growl to it now. Almost a dead ringer for the Megs, but they're about 4" shorter. WPG_Merc will have to give the part #, but he got it at the local FLAPS.

At the local speed shop to order them the reg price was $110 each & I got them for $84 each & with tax $192.
& installing new Stainless Steel 2 half tail pipes with the 4 "tips was $396.
Now the Rodder has 2 & a half inch pipes with X pipe from the front to the 4" tips.:)
The stock res pipes were causing major back pressure probs with the Comp Stage 3 Cams.There is some droning but small price to pay for mega torque & power. :burnout:
Also the stock res tips are very heavy & ran hot,& with the 4" they are lighter run cooler & less weight out the back.:)

Had some similar Magnaflow tips on my Grand Marquis a couple years ago. I believe they were the 3.5" though. They were nice IMHO.
