The pulley just left of the tensioner, I get maybe 3000 miles out of one, anybody found a HD or Hipo one?

Metco makes some sweet ones. Some with a double bearing.

I wonder if an alignment is in order, or if the exposure to salt water environment is the culprit?

Do you have access to a laser alignment tool like we use at the shop?

Shouldn't be eating belts or pulleys... I would get someone to verify the alignment!

I know somebody who does, and I will be seeing them soon!!
I should be there on the 16th.
it hasn't eaten a belt in 30000 miles, a motor yes, belts no.

They haven't failed, just get noisy and squeaky.

OK, turns out I have never changed the idler pulley that is making noise..
