Interesting show at the sight of the old Ford Edgewater, NJ, plant scheduled for Sept 8th.
While the show's purpose is to honor the old Ford plant, the show allows other manufacturers. Unfortunately, from the info sheet, it looks like cars newer then the 80's are not allowed.
The plant is gone (closed, moved to Mahwah, NJ, then Mahwah closed), but the pier that the plant was on still exists as a combination shops/condominium location.
It's not a big draw show, but if the weather's nice, being held right on the Hudson River, it can be a really pretty setting.
(The skeleton of a building/company where I worked in 1962 still stands (old Alcoa Aluminum site), but it's completely gutted The big furnaces where they "cooked" the aluminum are long gone as is the "skim pit" where I worked.)
I plan on showing my Galaxie.
