For all the members looking to do modifications to their Marauders, I highly recommend what Dennis Reinhart has to offer. I drove up to Reinhart's garage from Ft. Lauderdale FL to purchase the following Mods:

3000 stall torque converter
Level 2 transmission upgrade
Head reverse flow coolant Kit
Transmission cooler with stainless braided lines
MMDS
Sway bar
KVR front and rear brake kit, braided lines, G2 red painted calipers
Dyno run

Yes it was a little costly, but the car performs far and beyond my expectations.....and I like fast cars! I can honestly say that I am really satisfied with my Marauder now. It was missing the low end torque and performance it's name suggests. The T/C rectified that need. The 3000 stall torque converter and Reinhart's exhaust setup are the 2 mods I have been most satisfied with. Coupled with the transmission upgrades the car launches itself now and has all the power it was missing. The only way to exceed the performance would be to S/C. I can only say the car hauls A$$ now! On the way home it was like driving a new car. I drove for 4.5 hours home w/o the radio on listening to the sounds of the engine and exhaust note. Yeah mods cost money, but thanks to Ford the car needs something extra. If your modding get into the transmission and the T/C. The car even burns tire shifting into 2 gear.

As far as the 2 days I spent at Reinharts garage, I have nothing bad to say...only praise. Dennis is an old military man who knows what he is doing and talking about. His mechanics in the shop are also very knowledgeable. Dennis will not sell you something you do not need. Dennis was extremely good on the labor rate, something you will not probably get anywhere else. I had 3 problems unique to my car that took several extra hours (cross threaded exhaust manifold courtesy of crappy Prospect Muffler in Oakland Park Fl, factory crack in transmission fitting port (thankyou Ford *********s), a mal-adjusted parking brake) and Dennis did not charge extra labor. Dennis paid for lunch, loaned me a car for the night, and even let me wear the Ford Racing jacket off of his back for 2 days! I had G2 caliper paint shipped to the garage and Dennis painted them before I arrived, swapping mine out. I chose the KVR rotors for the lower price and when you paint the calipers they look like a million bucks.

This thread is not meant to be a Reinhart sales pitch, only a very positive recommendation and a little directive reference for Marauder owners doing similar mods. I have been learning as I go along and if I can highlight one mod it would be the T/C. If you call Dennis on the phone have a little patience as he gets an obscene amount of phone calls everyday. Good Luck!

thanks for the info, as a newbie definately interested in off-the-line, seat-of-the-pants results this is very helpful info, I'd prefer not to slap on a S/C right away but once the car is broken in I definately will start with some mods.

tmac1337 now drives a car that should be into the mid 13's, stevengerard. It should also be noted that most of the DR parts are modular or "stackable". You spend a little money each time until it turns into an addiction-Kinda like crack.:)

I hear ya tmac, it's getting more and more difficult to share your opinion or give us an update without it sounding like an infomercial. But, the truth is the truth too. No one man anywhere else on this board, has done so much for the Marauder, or for us as owners. Dennis has earned his praise, no reason to mute that. We know there will be no shortage of opinion when 1 out of 100 something breaks, or disappoints us. Thanks for sharing your experience, we love that too.

Now that is a man dedicated to his car.....driving from FTL up to Orange Park!! I am sure that ride back will be one of the best you ever take in that car!

Enjoy the mods! And make note of the all the good stops along the way....you will go back!

I concour. Also some credit to Logan, for keeping pretenders off the site vendor lists.
