64 Merc. Marauder question/advice

I am fixing to pull my 390 out and install a 351C with a C4 tranny. Does anyone know or have suggestions on the best way to do this? Also, what mounts are compatible or where to get them? Will the motor perches have to be swapped as well? Basically I'm looking for help on the subject and would greatly appreciate anyone's advice.

I would also like to replace my braking system while I have the front cap off, with a donor disc system and wondered if anyone had advice on this matter as well(i.e. what cars and years are compatible). I believe this would allow me to purchase different sized and styled rims.

Has anyone found an interior seat kit compatible with the marauder's interior?

I've swapped a lot of Ford motors in my day, and I don't ever remember having to change the mounts when switching between FE, Cleveland ad Windsor blocks in the 60's.

Pull the old one and drop in the Cleveland. You may have to change the transmission cross member, but that shouldn't be too hard.

You should look at a couple of FE websites. Also check out the trash or be trashed section on the Yellowbullet.com. They have a thread on building the 390 and with some parts they are getting alot of good hp out of the engines. I would not be so fast to discount the 390. Just my .02.

Refreshed my 390FE and upgraded to C6 in my '65 Marauder
I believe there were a few mods to the mounts for the transmission
..you might ask Martyo..it's at his shop
