Hello,
I have always liked Marauders for many years, for many reasons. Finally bought one with plans, big plans on making it fast and driveable. I've spent hooooouuuurs on this site and other sites these last 10 months. Other than engine internals bought quite a few/all parts from vendors here.(got an itch that only Paypal could scratch)
I was initially gonna wait to start posting till car was on my drive way but being that my car is almost done I figured I would say whats up.
My car is currently being finished (mechanically finished, still have many other custom ideas and mods) at my local performance shop, soon il be complete ....so excited like getting my first bad arse ride all over again, can't wait.
Keep you posted on maiden voyage
Be well

Car is at shop I will post pics and a detailed experience of events as soon as its completed but heres is a quick build off the top of my head in order of purchase
car
late september
bought
control arms, watts linkage, 41o posi, 31 spline axles, front and rear away sway bars.....Sparta performance
elec water pump, pi torque convertor, and S/C novi 2200 and gijoe 8 rib pulleys.....DR
Took those parts to LRE (Legends Racing, local performance shop) they went ahead and Stroked and bored with diamond pistons, eagle rods with L19 bolts, Eagle 4340 forged crank, custom grind bullet cams, LRE ported heads and an aeromotive fuel system
So thats that.... keep your fingers crossed... it should be a rocker...when its done(mechanically).... Im thinking pretty soon.... I will Post Pics
I didn't include everything, Im at work atm, but I have some cool cosmetics too...
Its been like GMing a construction job these past months... lol...

I also have the 8 rib from gijoe. The best S/C pulley is the high-traction from Vortech.
Beware of soft alum pulleys that prematurely wear out.

Its beyond easy to source out an 8rib pulley setup with oem motorcraft pulleys (cost way less), which is what i did, aside from the Innovators West crank pulley.

I was looking at the vortech pulleys but the gi joes were put into the mix already, I guess I'll see what happens

Thanks, by the way your wheel setup is bad to the bone, I have similar deep dish 20s in my garage waiting for my car to come home.... I really want to get 14 inch wilwood brakes but don't know if they'll fit, is there an easy way to measure or is it a for sure no go, wheels seem like they have much more space/clearance than stock

Contact Todd at TCE, a Wilwood vendor here. He does have front and rear 13" and 14" kits available along with SS brake lines for our cars.
I bought the measly 13" kit. But while on the track hitting the brakes hard in the turns. No brake fade.

Easy peasy. You could also just replace the switches.

And they worked amazing on Gingerman Raceway. Performed flawless as I beat the tar out of them before entering the turns.
