View Full Version : Will Stock Marauder Oil Filter Adapter Fit 04 Cobra Iron Block?

Can someone who has swapped their stock motor for a Cobra longblock please help me out here?

I need to know if the oil filter adapter from the Marauder's stock aluminum block will fit on my new Cobra iron block. I haven't pulled the motor out of the Marauder yet and I can't easily eyeball it with everything in the way.


The guy that sold me my cobra motor, broke its oil filter adapter (and didn't send all of the parts) and now I can't get a hold of him.

So I need to find out if I need to buy another Cobra one or if I can get by with my stock Marauder adapter.


Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance.

They should be the same.

I believe the Cobra's was cooled though.

I did it with mine with no issues... they do look different but the MM does fit. I sold the cobra one after my swap....

LOL they take the exact same part # gasket 1000% positive it fits!:revenge:

This was the last piece of the puzzle before starting the swap this weekend and I can sleep better tonight. :)

1000% is a good bet! Do you happen to have that gasket part number handy? I don't want to risk re using my old one.
