Hey y'all,

I'm putting in my red Cam and Powered by Ford Coil covers today and have hit a snag. I cant get the drivers side cover out. It's unbolted and seemingly free, but I seem to not have the wiggle room to finagle it out. So what's standard operating procedure here? Start putting more of the upper intake stuff off?

Also, is there a specific torqe spec for the bolts for re-installation?

Thanks!

Lairdo

the throttle body and the IAC need to come off, the master cylinder needs to be unbolted and pushed out of the way, and possibly some of the wiring harness plugs need to be moved.

Just the throttle body needs to come off. No need to unbolt the MC.

You should be able to see what is in the way... no?

The thread has helped alot. I figured the intake and wiper cowl had to come off. If I don't have a dremel to take out that BS part of the pass side, am i in for a long night?

I didn't take the intake or the cowl off when I did mine. Taking the cowl off does nothing.

You will have to remove the passenger side motor bolt (ONLY the passenger side!), jack up the motor an inch or so to remove the passenger side cover.
