Do I have an LCM problem? I took the family out to dinner last night. On the way home one of my sons saw us and said I had no tail lights. So I checked at home, he's right no tail or tag lights. It's late and dark I'll tackle it in the morning. So this morning every thing is working as it should. Didn't even get my test light or meter out. Up until now most LCM threads talk about headlight problems. Could this be an LCM tail light problem? Your thoughts no this please Sir.

Oh Ya I have no intentions of leaving Atlanta with out one of your LCM's and maybe a BCM too. Save me one, I have you a LCM core already.

It could be the LCM or a wiring issue somewhere else.

Most common problem is the headlights not working till you tap on the LCM.

The LCM does control all the lights except for the brake lights.

You know, I didn't notice if the front park lights were out. Thank for the heads up. Still waiting for it to happen again.

Well it happened again last night. No park lights. Tapped on LCM, relays, and light switch, with no change. Rushed home to check it out, and the D@** things are working when I get there. I'm not shore where to start checking. Light switch, LCM, relays. And I don't see a relay that works the park/tail lights. Any ideas here. It's hard to fix something that isn't broke.

If it were me, I would get the lcm repair done. Since it will need it eventually anyway. May cure it may not but would rule it out, and again it will fail anyway so it's not a waste of time or money.

Next week at MV I will get one. I need to notify Jim of my intent to porches one for him. Hay Jim I'm going to buy one even if I have to get the one out form under your dash. The original prototype. The #1.

Well it's the LCM. I had a chance to look at it this evening. I banged the crap out of the LCM and the park lights came on. I'm going to work with Jim to get one of his. I'm probably going to have to duct tape a flash light to my trunk to get to Atlanta.

I installed a mini circuit breaker and I have been problem free. I believe the original issue started with the fog lamps (excessive moisture) and the tail lights were on the same circuit.
