Are you faster than a factory Mustang?

Found this listing of Factory mustang times for 1/4 mile. I feel pretty good running a 13.9 N/A (same as a 1999 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT) and can beat or hang with most mustangs on the list. 1999-2004 were good model years! ;)

y'all realize those times are granny shifting if manual and probably a 2.73 automatic bone stock off showroom floor including tires, so are you running slicks, a bunch of mods to get the same results ? The best times comes from Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords the other test magazines have always been slower

That is a good point...I run street tires...but I do have mods...just thought it was cool to feel like my 2V was doing something...lol

I replied to the thread question. How I went about achieving it is irrelevant.

Now, to answer your question, I ran DOT legal drag radials, and I have mods for my mods. In fact, I have no clue even what a stock Marauder would feel like anymore and I'm sure if I felt it, I would fire sale it.
